Energy Efficiency

	Sentry SmartT Heater The exclusive Sentry SmartT Heater available on selected models features a titanium coil that directly heats the water, significantly increasing thermal efficiency and cost savings. 100% of the heat produced is transferred immediately to the spa water. The titanium coil protects the Smart Heater from corrosion or failure, and carries an unconditional 5-year warranty.
	Jet Pumps Efficient plumbing, quality jets, and optimum flow control are more important than horsepower. A lower horsepower pump in an efficient spa will produce just as much jet power as a higher horsepower pump in an inefficient spa. Many other manufacturers use oversized, high horsepower pumps. Sundance Spas has built a cost effective system, using efficient pumps to deliver the perfect hydrotherapeutic experience.
	SunZoneT CD System Reduced chemical maintenance and lower operating costs are benefits of the exclusive SunZone CD system. The SunZone CD option uses an efficient CD (corona discharge) element to maximize ozone production and provide clear, clean water. Ozone maintains water balance longer, so you can drain, refill, and reheat the spa less often. The SunZone CD system costs only 4¢ per day to run (24-hours).
	Sentry Command Control Center Programmable for maximum energy efficiency, the easy-to-use control panel allows for precise programming of filtration cycles and temperature control to within one-half of one degree. Energy-efficient microprocessors continuously check all spa functions. The lock-out function allows for the protection of personalized settings. On 880 Series models, the controls maintain your settings in the event of a power outage.
	Insulating Cover The optional marine-grade vinyl covers features high-density, two-pound foam for maximum heat retention. The cover locks into place, forming a protective seal to keep heat in and weather out. The cover helps the spa water stay clean longer, reducing maintenance costs.
	Rigid BondT Construction and Full-Foam Insulation 3-layer Rigid Bond construction adds superior strength and thermal retention qualities. Only Sundance Spas layers the shell with vinylester, polyester resins and a proprietary laminate. Full-foam insulation with two different types of foam completely fills the compartment between the shell and the skirt. Rigid Bond and foam insulation conserve energy and reduce heating costs by maintaining water temperatures longer.
	Circulation System The high-flow filtration system runs on an efficient 1/15 hp circulation pump (Maxxus and Optima) or a 1/20 hp pump. Some manufacturers use larger jet pumps for filtration and heating cycles; Sundance engineering utilizes the friction from the motor to create heat, which is efficiently transferred to the water, to reduce operating costs. You can program the circulation system to run at designated times, including during off-peak hours (on select models).

ISO 9001 Certification

ISO 9001 is a set of five quality assurance standards adopted by 90 countries around the world. ISO 9001, the most comprehensive of the standards, applies to the design, development, manufacturing, and distribution of Sundance Spas products. ISO standards are determined by the International Organization for Standardization. Located in Switzerland, the committee was established in 1947 to develop common international standards that people everywhere would recognize and respect. Sundance Spas was the first spa manufacturer in the world to receive ISO 9001 certification. While ISO 9001-certified processes are extensive and complex, our objective is simple: to maintain our exceptional level of quality and reliability. Acrylic colors and textures

Sundance gives you a great selection of acrylic colors and textures, as well as cabinet finishes. Each spa shell is vacuum-molded of high-quality, long-lasting acrylic, in a variety of textures. There are three colors to choose from in our SunStrong™ cabinetry. Made of durable UV-resistant material, the cabinet colors coordinate with our line of accessories. With so many combinations to choose from, it’s easy to match your style and environment. Your dealer can help you evaluate the various selections and what works in your yard. Controls

The controls on a Sundance Spas hot tub are easy to use and conveniently located. Digital touchpads give you total control of all functions: water circulation, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, filtration, purification, temperature, and lights. Every model features clear and legible LCD digital readouts, and most panels can be flipped for easy reading whether you're inside or outside the hot tub. You can fully customize your spa experience by selecting water and air pressure, and type of jets for a just-right massage.

Jets

Seating

The seating design experts at Sundance have applied the ergonomics of body support to the environment of water to create form-fitting spaces. Each seat helps you maintain even weight distribution and correct posture when surrounded by jet-driven water. So you can relax into the seats of your Sundance spa, and “fit without floating.” Moving from one area to another, you can achieve specialized massage types, or a full-body hydrotherapeutic experience. Sundance lighting

Spa lighting is an important safety feature, as well as a way to add ambience to the surroundings. Interior and optional exterior lights are available on all Sundance Spas models. On models using innovative LED technology, changeable spa lights allow you to select from an assortment of jewel-toned colors: red, green, blue, violet, teal, purple, and a rotating color sequence (800 Series). Maxxus features additional LED lighting on the twin water feature, the AquaTerraceT. 700 Series spas include SunGlow lighting in a rainbow palette of red, blue and green. Colors rotate automatically, or push a button to select only one. Energy-saving features LED lighting system shuts off automatically after two hours on selected models; after one hour on others. LED lighting system consumes less than 8% of the energy used by an equivalent incandescent lighting system. Running the LED lighting system every day for three hours a day costs approximately 25 cents per year.

Sunsound™ stereo

Listen to AM/FM radio or a CD from an optional built-in sound system. Sundance SunSound Stereo is a patented, UL®-listed in-spa stereo system with pop-up speakers on available 800 Series models, and in-pillow speakers on designated 700 Series spas. Sound resonates through the water from a subwoofer installed in the spa's frame, so you feel and hear the sound. A custom-designed equalizer optimizes sound quality. (The SunSound Stereo system is available on selected models.)

	One touch of the waterproof speaker and it pops up out of the spa. Press down and the speaker disappears. You can also listen to the stereo without operating the spa. Stereo option is available on selected models.
	Operate the SunSound Stereo without leaving the spa using the stereo remote control option, available with selected 800 Series models.

	The SunSound Stereo speakers are discreetly tucked away behind the pillow headrests in the 700 Series spas. Listen to the stereo without using the spa, as well. (Stereo option available on selected models.)

Sundance Spas’ marine-grade vinyl covers contain high-density foam for maximum heat retention. The cover locks into place forming a protective seal to keep heat in and weather out. Additionally, the spa water stays clean longer, reducing maintenance costs. Available in two colors, Sierra and Coastal, the covers coordinate with the acrylic spa shells and cabinets. They taper from 4" to 2" center-to-side for efficient water run-off, with handles both inside and outside for easy lifting and closing.

Purifiers

Sundance Spas' water filtration technology improves water clarity while reducing chemical usage and maintenance. The SunZoneT mixing chamber on select models triples the positive effects of ozone, which further improves water quality. To reduce maintenance and lower operating costs further, choose one of the models that are ready for easy installation of the latest in ozone purification technology.

SunPurity™ Mineral Spa Purifier A natural, effective alternative to chlorine and bromine, using organic minerals. Drop into the filter area to enhance water filtration and sanitizing in every cycle.

SunZone™ CD System The SunZone CD options on system-ready models utilize ozone technology to effectively remove water impurities and reduce the need for frequent use of chemicals. Reduced chemical maintenance and lowered operating costs are the two most significant benefits of the SunZone CD system, found only on Sundance spas. The unit uses a highly efficient corona discharge (CD) element to maximize ozone production and provide clear water, surpassing the capabilities of UV-ozone options. Ozone maintains the water balance longer; so the spa will not need to be drained, refilled, and reheated as often. At a cost of only 4¢ per day (to operate 24 hours a day), the SunZone CD system provides the very best in water purification technology.
